Nice little casino with a variety of table games, low table limits to make it more affordable.Dealers were friendly. Place also had a good variety of slot machines. We would go back for sure!

We went just for the bruch buffet! Oh my goodness!! Everything you could ever want to eat! The food & service were fantastic! Definitely will be back next time we are in the area!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The front desk was horrible. When we checked in they couldn't tell us the times for any of the in hotel restaurants. The room was barely what you could clean. The toilet ran nonstop and when repaired the old parts were left in the sink. The shower from the room above began to leak through the ceiling into our shower. Maintenance decided to move the people out of the room above and leave us in our room since no more water would come through. Room service wasn't sent to clean up after any of the maintenance work, or at all during the stay. The place smelled horrible between smoke, weed, and yuck. Speaking of weed, the server at Epic Buffet responded to the song Bad Boys whatcha gonna do, by singing he would run cause he was high and didn't want them to get his weed. The snow crab legs were good though. Overall, I would recommend pretty much any other place.

It's ok rooms are nothing special but clean. They were cleaning the room next to ours at 8am...awfully noisy. Casino is not near as nice as many we've been to. Doing the crab buffet tonight and really hoping it's good.

Dirty rooms. Maintenence man left stopped up trash on the bathroom counter from a clogged sink that was that way when I arrived. The wallpaper in the bathroom had dirt all over. I felt so uncomfortable in that room.. Jan at front desk was rude as heck and has no business serving customers. I wanted to speak to her supervisor but she said she wasn't there and walked away. The front desk didn't answer the phone.

We just left. We had a good time. The king bed was a little lumpy but I love the pillows. There is no fridge or microwave in the room so you have to order in which is fine. Unfortunately the games, there were several out of order, or our card wouldn't work in or parts of them just didn't work to use your players card properly. Both men with me had to go back to the players club many times to get the players cards working. A bit more care in the players card booth would have been great. We had the lunch buffet and the food was awesome. I found everything to be clean if a bit old. We all had a good time and will go back.

Room was good and clean, awesome atmosphere in the casino and in the pool and restaurants. The only problem we had was they double charged us for the room, which took all our money we budgeted for the vacation. We had to dip into a savings account to cover food and travel back home. We had prepaid for the room prior to arrival. So be careful when using a third party for getting a room. This chain will charge you double

The smoke was too much for us. Two out of the four restaurants were in the smoking part of the casino. The other two were on the second level and you had to walk through the smoke area to get to them.The rooms didn’t have a microwave or mini fridge. The room temperature seemed to be controlled by the hotel. We felt like it never cooled off enough for us no matter how low you turned it. Upgrades on the carpet or deep cleanings are much needed.The only escape from the smoke smell was the bar room across the hall from the casino. If they kept the doors closed, it was too bad. Bar beer prices were $3 cheaper than the pool area prices.No outdoor space to sit and enjoy other than the pool area and you couldn’t bring in anything to drink. You had to purchase from the pool bar which was more expensive than the bar inside the casino.Next time we will try an Airbnb in the area.

Cigarette smoke in the hotel area was awful. Not very friendly, a bit outdated, parking lot is rough. Nice area. Don't think I'll be back to stay at this one. No 1/2 no limit

Place is clean … room is clean …. All is in (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap but NO body lotion . The charging of $10.70 for booking by phone was unexpected and more so another charge of $10.70 for talking to the hotel desk. Is this the hotel standard policy? I never get extra charges from other casino hotels.

Felt compelled to write my first review ever. This hotel should be so much better than it is. The location on the bay watching the sunset and being near The charming town of Bay St Louis was great.But..the hotel needs some help. Staff didn't seem to care about anything. The TV in our room was 20 years old. I had to request a refrigerator (a first for my 36 years on earth). Not only no microwave in the room, none in the whole Building for the paying customers to use. That was the final straw to leaving this review.We also overheard many older guests complaining about my kids in the pool as if we had no right to be there. Also the kids were not aloud in the pool after 6. So my family essentially had to retire to our room by 6. Pretty ridiculous.TVs are cheaper than they have ever been. Buy new TVs. Buy some bleeping microwaves. Buy refrigerators.Change your pool policies to accommodate families. Consider new tactics with front desk staff. Consider ending the smoking policy. Place smells like 1982.This establishment fella like they are at a make or break point of existing moving forward. Either full scale policy changes and physical updates to the building or fold.I've stayed at Red Roof Inns that seem state of the art compared to this place.

Clean room. No attendants when pool opens and no towels until around 9:30. Enjoyed the cabana and pools. No bellman or valets at 9am. Have to go get your own car. Definitely need the arcade back! Needs a gift shop.

I was having a good time had spent $900 and got up to 4500 playing some slots. I hit a hand pay and the attendant came out pretty quick. I was impressed when she put the wrong Social Security number down one time, then took out federal when I told her don’t take the federal tax out then when confronted in front of her boss, she didn’t even have integrity to own up to it. Couldn’t even imagine leadership being better if that’s the floor does , put every dollar but 500 back in the damn thing I want nothing to do with this place. You’re welcome Hollywood keep on doing what you’re doing embarrassing and laundering money

My debit card was authorized for an extra day and my days were suppose to be comp. I checked out on the initial date of my reservation departure without incurring extra charges. I strip my rooms to help out the housekeeper and Although the pillowcases were clean the pillow itself had a blood stain on it😳. I decided to play before I left and the beverage server just continuously pass me as if I wasn’t playing at the bar (just rude). I use to think that Hollywood appreciated their guest but I guess not. I will be staying at Island View from now on, the service and comps are way better.

Casino is the only thing to do in this town, we got this as a free stay from a frequent visitor of the casino that was making a kind gesture. Entry to the hotel smells of smoke which I guess should be expected. The room was DUSTY and the bedding with literal holes in it, I had to request new. I had to wipe down everything with Lysol wipes which is something I typically don’t do. Even the carpet in the hallways had dust buildup near the base boards, they clearly don’t shampoo the carpet either.Buffet was $110 for 2 people, food cold and gross. I told my husband to dispute the charge as we didn’t even eat, but he’s a good person.Pool was great after all the kids left.Staff was nice but would not go back or recommend. I think it’s a good place for LOCALS just to spend the day with their children.

Since the remodel it's back to new new again. All new machines and people starting to visit again. Haven't stayed there on years though. Good thing is kids can go there to stay eat and swim in which the slipper, they cannot!! So we'll be going more than we have been

Rooms are outdated and definitely need updating. They could be alot cleaner also. There were brown stains on lamp shades and on the chair. The air-conditioning did not work. They had to send someone up. This could be such a really nice hotel if they took more pride in their rooms for their guests. The pool & the pool area were also showing neglect as the rooms. I was there about 4 or 5 years ago and the pool & pool area were so nice & looked fresh. Now everything looks old and worn. It is a shame too because it could be a really nice hotel & casino. I do have to sat that the employees were all very nice. And that helped to make my stay there a little better.

Everything was nice except the young lady working the bar at the pool. If you have small children under 6 do not stay at this hotel. The lady was very rude. There were several toddlers in the pool. My girls had on life vest. She didn’t say anything to anyone besides me about their kids. I also asked the other parents with small children. It made me feel as if I was targeted because of my race.

The campground is very quiet, well kept. Security makes rounds. The RV Campground office is closed, that is not communicated to the guests prior to arrival. We did extend our stay. Guests have use of the hotel pool and lazy river. Rates were very reasonable.

Love this place! We had a couple of surprises. Pool was ice cold on a moderate, warm day. I would have liked a somewhat heated pool so that we could actually use it or the nice lazy river. Also, signs said grill was open until midnight but it closed at 10pm and nothing else available.

As a returning guest at this resort, it was disappointing to see how this place has been going downhill over the years. Drink prices have gone up ridiculously. The same drink I ordered the last time I was there, the Malibu Cooler, was in a smaller container this time and much more expensive. The bartender at the swim up bar had an attitude with a bunch of customers and kept ignoring people. At the casino, it was difficult to find a server anywhere and once found, one of my friends asked for a drink while she was playing and the server was never seen again. The workers at the noodle place in the casino all had attitudes, were disrespectful to my group as well as other customers, with one worker making negative comments about one guy who was simply asking if his food was done yet. Watching them, I noticed they were doing everything very slowly and didn't care about the large amount of customers standing there waiting. My friend ordered a Boba drink that she didn't get until she was over halfway done with her food even though she asked about the drink multiple times. The lady just kept telling her to wait and wouldn't make the drink.At the pool, there were no towels and when I asked a worker when there would be more, she said they would refill them at 6pm, which would be an hour and a half. They did not ever refill the towels that evening, so we ended up having to walk to our rooms drenched to be able to dry off with the towels there.The night before leaving we went to the front desk to ask for an extended checkout at 2pm, which is advertised as an option that costs $40. The worker tried to tell us that wasn't possible to checkout that late, but eventually said it was possible and we paid for it. He did not put it in the system and we were locked out of our rooms the next morning. Luckily, another worker let us into our rooms. Normally, I would just let little things like this slide because I understand that things happen, but there were too many little issues that were consistently happening to multiple people and we were paying significantly more than in the past for worse service than I have ever experienced at this resort. This was our go-to spot for a little vacation, but now I feel like I'm going to have to find a new one if I'm going to pay more regardless. Also, it sucks that the pool closes so early 8pm/6pm. What's the point of having lights in a pool that can't be used when it's darker and finally cooler outside. Especially at a resort with a casino that's open 24hrs.On the pro side, the rooms were clean and the cleaning ladies were nice. The lazy river was a bit too hot, but a good time. (I think they should put up some sun shades to help keep it cooler throughout the day) The buffet was awesome and the dessert options were to die for. The Mac and cheese is heavenly. Perfect amount of cheesiness. The server at the buffet was super great and good about getting refills.

We had a great time there. In all honesty the rooms could use a little upgrade, but they were nice. Food was extremely good! Everyone working there was awesome. We would love to come back!!!

We decided to take a weekend getaway-my husband and I. We traveled about 2 hours, wanted to enjoy the pool and lazy river. What an awful experience. I’ve never been to a place where guests hoarded and would not share tubes for the lazy river. Adults would take them to the poolside and keep them. Kids would ask to use tubes and adults were very rude. The cabanas had tubes in them with no one using them. People were having nasty words with one another over the tubes. We definitely will not be back. It would be nice if better policies were put in place.
